January Art Walk Welcomes Deborah Berg

"Art is a journey with no destination. It’s where I can take adventures, lose myself in the voyage, and at the same time, find a way back home to the rain. In this swollen world full of a complex way of life, I strive for simplicity and tranquility to balance it all out. I crave the type of ease that comes from the act of frosting a cake-- with nothing between the icing and the knife except texture, color, and pattern. And just like frosting a cake, I layer the paint, creating peaks that stand on their own feet and colors that speak their own language." Deborah Berg. Belltown Art Walk

As the art coordinator for a downtown salon for the last 6 years I am excited to announce we will be participating in our local Art Walk starting this month! While this means that my leisurely hobby is turning into a part time job, it's very exciting! Instead of showing a new artist every 3 months I will have a new one every month now! I will be posting some pieces and contact information for each every month. I am thrilled for what is to come! And if you are local to Seattle or happen to be in the area the 2nd Friday of every month between 6-8 please come join us! Drinks, food, great people, and great art! A Ray of Sunshine in All the Grey

I love the time when Resort collection editorials come out. It is such a nice reprieve from the heavy dark clothes and cold weather. While it is a bit bittersweet since Spring won't actually be here for a few more months and I can't go to these exotic locals, it is nice reminder of what's to come!
